While the World of Warcraft is one of those MMORPGs (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) designed to hook fantasy-obsessed gamers to their PCs, it certainly has managed to elevate itself a notch or two above its contemporaries. World of Warcraft, or popularly known to the gaming world and its denizens as WoW, is tad different from the other online games of the same platform. WoW, in the strictest sense of the word, is fun.
Other MMORPGs, though quite addictive with its monster hacking and the likely possibility of making friends with other gamers online, can be boring as soon as the player advances through the later stages of the games. Battling countless hordes of villains brings less and less experience as the games continue, making the progress of the player’s character to a crawl. And there is also the dreaded loss of hard-earned experience points and bonuses should the character be mauled or clawed to death by the opposition.
WoW, on the other hand, brings more to the table.
Experience do not just come from going gung-ho on the server’s walking (or flying) abominations, but from quests that reward players with very unique wares, recipes, or significant sums of WoW gold, the gaming world’s official currency. A character’s death does not result in the loss of experience points, money, or items. In the event the event that a character dies, he can easily resurrect in a short span of time. Plus, there is no competition for monsters. Unlike other MMORPGs, WoW ‘s minions spawn almost instantly and its numbers depend on how many players are camping on that area.
WoW’s battleground is split into two – Azeroth, where the Horde makes its home; and Kalimdor, where the Night Elves, Taurens, and other members of the Alliance abound. As far as the player is concerned, there are eight races, nine classes, 12 trade skills, and 60 levels in this game, which make the game more entertaining and more addictive.
In a game that is designed to be competitive, a player should strive to have the best equipment and weapons the game has to offer. To have these, one has to have an abundance of WoW gold. A player can have his gold earned through the hard way, or get richer by buying WoW gold from online merchants. Either way, gold translates to fun, you can see this in your opponents’ eyes when you decimate them with the shiny new runeblade you just bought.
